What does ClipMoose do?

It finds the percussive moments inside your videos (a clap, a slam, a bounce) and uses them as instruments. It then plays a beat and a melody with them, lining up each clip so its impact lands exactly on the beat, and shows the whole thing as a video collage you can export.

Do my videos get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens on your iPhone. There's no account and no server, and nothing you record or import leaves your device. See the privacy policy.

It didn't find a good hit in my video. What can I do?

Long-press the clip, choose Edit Clip, and drag the pin to where the impact really is. You can also record a sound on the spot: the camera counts you in and cuts the hit for you. Short, sharp sounds work best, like a stomp, a clap, a ball bounce or a door.

A clip sounds early or late. How do I fix it?

Long-press the clip and choose Edit Clip. In Timing, drag the timing pin until the clip's hit lines up with the click. Pull your finger down while dragging for finer control. The fix applies everywhere that clip is used.

My melody sounds out of tune.

Long-press the clip, choose Edit Clip, and use Pitch to tune the clip against the reference tone. ClipMoose then shifts it to the right notes.

I can't hear anything.

Check that your ringer switch isn't on silent, your volume is up, and no instrument is muted. Tap an instrument to open it, and check its sound switch.

How do I save my video?

Tap the render button. When it's finished, you can save it to your camera roll or share it straight to another app.

ClipMoose can't see my videos, camera or microphone.

Open the Settings app, go to Privacy & Security, and allow ClipMoose access to Photos, Camera and Microphone as needed. ClipMoose only uses them on your phone.
